What this page covers
This explains what cookies and similar local storage this site uses, and how to change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
Necessary
Used to remember your theme (dark/light) and language choice, and your cookie preference itself. These aren't cookies in the traditional sense — they're stored in your browser's local storage, never sent to a server, and the site can't function properly without them. Always on.
Analytics
Off by default. Accepting this category is what causes Google Tag Manager to be loaded in the first place — before that, no request to Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics happens at all. Once loaded, it can set cookies to understand aggregated site usage — which pages are visited, in which language, roughly how. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or any message content to Google. You can withdraw this at any time from Cookie settings, which stops further data from being collected.
Marketing
Off by default, and not currently used to load anything — no marketing or advertising tag is active on this site today. Accepting it would (like Analytics) be what actually triggers Google Tag Manager to load, if it isn't already. This category exists so that if we introduce a marketing tag in the future (for example, to measure ad performance), it will respect a choice you've already made rather than starting from scratch.
Basic Consent Mode
This site uses Google's "Basic" Consent Mode, the stricter of the two options Google offers: Google Tag Manager is not merely told to keep quiet before you decide — its script is never requested from Google's servers until you accept Analytics or Marketing. Rejecting, or simply not deciding, results in zero network activity toward any Google domain. Your choice updates this immediately, and is stored so it applies on your next visit too — the cookie banner isn't cosmetic.
Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time to review or change what you've allowed.
